I've been tired of dealing with DSL for a while. So I decided to go with excede as I have had direct tv for years. The installation was a bit complicated, but Kurt's guys, Joe and Adam, stuck with it and didn't take the easy way out. The next day, a Sunday, a piece on the dish went bad. Excede told me I would have to wait three days for a tech to come out to make the repairs. This is after more than 50 minutes on the phone. I called Kurt, and he drove in from his home - 90 plus minutes each way - to hook me back up to the Internet. I am very grateful for his diligence and integrity in backing up his product. Cheers, Kurt!! You have resorted my faith! Thanks!

I cannot say enough good things about Departure Complete! Kurt and Tony went way above any expectation that we had regarding our internet service. They did everything possible to make sure that we had what we needed and that it was installed properly and on time. Kurt's son did an excellent job with the installation! They had so much patience and understanding, and actually wanted to make sure that we were comfortable with the services that were provided. I can honestly say that if you are looking for service in Front Royal that you don't have to go beyond Departure Complete. They will take care of you from start to finish and beyond if needed! I will never use anyone else!

I've had exede for almost 2 year and although their service can be lacking, Kurt and his team are people I can count on for great, honest and reliable assistance. He answers the phone and is available, and Always, Always seems to have the answers I need, When I need them. He is devoted to his customers and loyal, and his install team does a fast, efficient job too. My first dish with them, Joe installed in ice and know and I know his hands were freezing too! They are good, hard working and really get the job done right! In this business, they truly excel and do care about their customers, something other companies should do, but many don't give us the time of day. It is a relief to be able to call someone who knows and is willing to go that extra distance. They are really an asset and very valuable team and you're lucky to get their service and install!

Kurt is fantastic. I called Dish before I found Kurt's info and the guy Matt who answered was unbelievably rude! Matt would not quote me any plans. He told me I can go to the internet and look up the cost of plans. He was only going to help me if I go with Dish. Then I read some reviews of Departure Complete and Kurt is as good as the other reviews about his company!!! I look forward to working with him after my move to the country!

I used Kurt and Co. at Departure Complete several years ago for satellite internet service (see previous review here). I've had very few issues with Exede as an ISP, but when I did and I called Exede customer service - I was surprised to get a return call from Kurt. He followed up to make sure everything was OK and took the time to make sure customer service corrected my problem (how did he even know I called them?).


When it was time to deal with my aging DirectTV system, it was a no-brainer to call Kurt. My DirecTV equipment was very old and long overdue for an upgrade. In addition, it my house had enough unsightly, legacy cable wrapped around and through it to reach the moon and back. Frankly, I never knew who to call to deal with such an issue, but I knew if anyone DID know, it'd be Kurt. Did I mention I have a very high, very steep, multi-tiered roof? So, I got my DirecTV upgrade - easy. Kurt did what he does - listened to what I needed, provided me all the options beginning with the most cost-efficient, checked all the specials, and set me up with exactly what I wanted (and also tipped me off to a better internet plan - faster with more bandwidth for 50 bucks less a month). Here's the kicker - the Tech Bryan removed EVERY SINGLE extra cable that was left behind from every previous (no less than 5) satellite dish install. This was a huge relief and something I'm quite sure wouldn't have been done if I'd called the main DirecTV line to upgrade. All of this work was done in less than a week from my initiating phone call. Fast, easy, complete, done right. Folks - stay local, stay small - it's worth it.

Kurt and team installed my "self-install" Starlink dish this afternoon on my very high, very steep roof. Kurt jumped through hoops to make this difficult install look "easy," and his communication throughout the process was fantastic! I can fully recommend Departure Complete for those hesitant to self-install Starlink!

This review is a bit long but necessary should you have a similar situation as us.

This review is about a Directv install...We live in a fairly wooded area on the outskirts of Cumberland, Md in Allegany County. After a successive parade of bill raises and channel omissions from our resident cable provider Atlantic Broadband we decided to switch to Directv. We used one of the mailers we had received to order our new service and subsequent installation. Well, installation day arrives and the directv installer no more set foot out of his van and said there were too many trees and no clear line of sight...he instructed my husband to cut down roughly 8 tall old trees to relieve the situation and he would then return. We downloaded several satellite finder apps and found a place in the front yard with perfect line of site approximately 50 feet from the house and rescheduled with directv and requested a different installer as the first just seemed like he genuinely didn't want to do this big of a job (large house, 5 tvs and detached garage with coax already ran underground) low and behold on the second install day the same installer showed up and said "wasn't I already here? Please don't call back until the trees are removed"...I told him about the front yard location and without looking said it was too far from the house. After he left I googled directv independant contractors and the first hit was for this company Bridged Technology who partners with Departure Complete. Whoever answered seemed genuinely happy to have gotten my call...I explained our situation and advised that the install could potentially be problematic because of the trees. He got my info, we selected a package and he said he would be there to install on Monday! Only 5 days away...I'm not going to lie it sounded waaaay to good to be true...well the rest is history...they showed up yesterday installed everything new and we now have crystal perfect service. And a very unexpected and pleasant twist to this whole story is that the satellite dish went right on the eve of the roof!! No yard install, no trenching, no mast! Standard roof install. If you ever get the run around about your install call these guys...ABSOLUTELY no extra cost...same free install as directv...our package with 5 Tvs is $64.01 a month!! Thank you Denton (and Kurt) again and I will shout it from the roof tops what you did for us...your attitude and work ethic seem to be a thing of the past anymore and I'm glad I found you...Good luck and God bless
